This painting is alright. Don't think I pushed the values enough, which is a common problem for me. I also think I could have come up with a stronger vision for the piece if I had more time upfront to plan. Of course there aren't a lot of cool poses you can put Omanyte in.
I really like the fossil concept. It was an interesting additional method of acquiring a Pokemon. I also like that you get the fossils very early, but their purpose doesn't become clear until very late in the game. It's just one of the cool things about the story telling in Gen 1.
I could talk a lot about Twitch Plays Pokemon but I'll save it for tomorrow.
