This was the same technique as Ponyta. Mostly my copic marker brush. I put a little more research into this one and I think it paid off. I wish I had time to do a lot of preparation and practice for each of these.
Also I notice that both Ponyta and Rapidash have strange large pointed ears. They're not like horse ears at all.
